Eng. Alaa R. Hussein

Alaa Hussein is an MBA holder, senior manager, certified project management professional PMP and M&E specialist with more than 25 years of experience dedicated to tracking and reporting. Eight years of prior experience in management developing performance metrics and monitoring and evaluation. Professional experience and education have helped him to develop a comprehensive view of the performance tracing process, including how to accurately measure progress beyond simply reporting numbers. Haitham A. Kareem Al-Rasheed

Is a specialized practitioner in the field of International Development, Humanitarian practice work, and relief, in addition to extensive experience in the health sector with a focus on evidence-based planning and Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL). After completing specialized training in hospital management, Haitham managed refugee medical cases in the city of Sulaymaniyah in Iraq as the Head of Office for the IOM-UNHCR Joint Repatriation Program, developing a medical program to deal with the most vulnerable patients, and coordinating medical evacuations from Iraq for treatment. Haitham has extensive experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, through the collection, analysis, and use of information for more effective decision-making, learning from history and finally accountability for resources being used. Tareq Omairi

Research, Science, and Higher Education Consultant Tareq is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), with a Doctoral Degree in Astrobiology from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. He is an experienced researcher and a Higher Education Development trainer. At the University of Sheffield, Tareq worked in the Research and Innovation Services department where he was responsible for the professional development of over 2700 Doctoral students and researchers, and successfully creating an award-winning leadership training program. He also served for over two years with both the International Office for the University as a recruitment ambassador for MENA students, and the Alumni office as a MENA Prospect Researcher, as an analyst to support the fundraising efforts of the University in the Middle-East region. As a researcher, Tareq has published several peer-reviewed papers in his field of Astrobiology, and also participated in numerous international conferences and training events. The Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research awarded him in 2018 with the Golden Medal of recognition, in appreciation for his work. He also obtained several research grants to facilitate research collaborations, including ones from NASA Ames Research Center, Santander Bank, and the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN).
