Government Contract Management Consultant
Mr. John Sarakatsannis is an instructor of Contract and Project Management at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and University of California Irvine (UCI).
He has 30 years experience in project management, contracts and supply chain management, and extensive international procurement expertise.
He served as an officer in the United States Air Force for 20 years retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Prior to joining UCI and UCLA he was a senior supply chain manager with the Raytheon Corporation and project manager at both Boeing and Northrop Grumman.
He holds multiple professional certifications in Project Management and Contracts Management including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), and was awarded “Fellow” status through the National Contract Management Association.
His academic accomplishments include an MBA and MS in Systems Acquisition Management and Procurement Law.
